Dear family,
Things are going pretty good over here. The Rojas family (Fernando and Neri) is really starting to look good. We had them come to church and then go to the Gospel Principles class and they said that they really liked it. They also went to an FHE with a less-active family and that was good for both of the families. We also looked through the part member families in our ward directory and so now we're teaching the parents of a member and that's going pretty well. We'll see how that goes.
Rocio also has a baptism date for Dec. 4th, but she couldn't come to church last week because she usually does her yard sale on Sundays. She said that her mom would take care of it this Sunday so hopefully she'll come to church.
That's pretty cool that Reggie is going to BYU Idaho with James and everybody. In fact, my companion is applying for college and he got into BYU Idaho so if any of you see David Boschi in a few months, that's my companion. There's an Elder in my apartment that said he might do Spanish as a minor when he goes back to college, but I still have no idea what I want to do when I get back. I'll be sure to get you my pictures soon, I'll probably do it when my memory card gets full.
The weather is starting to get a little cooler. We've had to pull out our sweaters a few times in the morning, but usually by mid-day it feels pretty nice. We're having a member of the Quorum of the Seventy come on the 20th to our mission, so that will be exciting. It'll be Elder Bowen and they said he might even come to do some apartment inspections, so we'll probably get our apartments cleaned before then, maybe. I think sometimes our apartment gets more excited for "P-Day Eve" because P-Day's are usually pretty busy, also.
I'm doing pretty good. We're still trying to work hard. I'll tell you guys if I need anything.
I love you!
Elder Meiners
